These short courses are designed to get you started on your journey as an impactful storyteller! All students will end up making a short film that will be shared with other students at some of our sharing events in June and July as well as on our TGI EARTH site.

This course will have 6 modules that you can follow in your own time

Module 1: Why Tell A Story? What is Docathon and Why should you join?

Module 2: Exemplar film viewing. A key to good filmmaking, The 2024 Docathon Philippines Winner! Project Emma – a film from the Philippines

Module 3: The components of a powerful story. Benjie’s Story, Components of Benjie’s story

Module 4: Questions That Dig Deeper Video. Questions for Benjie – worksheet

Module 5: What story do YOU want to tell? Questions to Spark Ideas!

Module 6: Some Final Tips from Tom on Telling a Meaningful Story

10 Student groups that submit the most interesting idea will get mentoring from Tom Graham and his team.
